Your Tears Don’t Compromise Your Strength

Years ago, when I was in the middle of my mess I cried everyday.

I saw crying as a form of weakness. It was something I loathed! I did not want to be weak at all. I needed to suck it up and keep it moving, not cry like a baby. Ain’t nobody got time for that. I was a strong black woman!
However, there came a time in my life when all I could do was cry. My heart was broken and there was nothing and no one who could comfort me, but God…

Holding on to God’s promises sustained me and outlasted my heartbreak.

He never left me alone.

He never gave up on me. He never failed me. Deut. 31:8Hebrews 13:5

He heard me when I cried.Psalm 34:15-17 Psalm 40:1-3

And I got OUT of my mess!

If He did it for me, He can do it for you too.

I want you to know it’s ok to cry.

Your tears DO NOT compromise your strength.

Your tears mean you are a living breathing human.

It means you have a heart. Your inner strength comes from having heart.

You are stronger than you know.

So if you are struggling with heartbreak right now just know it’s not over yet. The song below is for you.
