The Fu Fu Story

Some days are easier than others.

If you listened to the interview with Jessica Journey last week you may have heard me and Jessica mention the “Fu Fu Story”.

As a kid, my older brother would tell me amazing imaginative stories. He instilled in me a great appreciation of a good story. Because he was a master story teller I learned the difference between a good story and a Fu Fu story.

So what’s the difference between a Good story and a Fu Fu story?

The Fu Fu story consists of: a prince and princess who lived in a castle. They ate bon bons every day and never got fat. They never had a struggle in their lives and they lived happily ever after with rainbows and lollipops! (que Classical music)

The Good story consists of: men & women who everyone bet against. They were viewed as the underdogs. They fought, persevered, and miraculously overcame struggles. Finally, while their former oppressors gawked in disbelief, the underdogs took those rainbows and lollipops and enjoyed the hell out of them! (que House music)

Everybody wants to live the Fu Fu story but that’s NOT the Good story. God has written a Good story for your life. All things work out for good for those who love God (Romans 8:28).

What will the story of your life be as we move towards the end of 2016?

Are you are looking to walk in your Good story (your God given purpose) but don’t know where to start? Click here to contact me I’d love to help you get started.
