Early in my journey I wanted to know how I could abide in Christ but every teaching I found was so complicated or so deeply rooted in advanced theology I was more confused than anything. I wanted a simple answer. As I read my Bible I found 1 super simple way to abide in Christ. I wasn’t making any progress in my effort to live successfully in Christ until:
Isaiah 52:12 (Amp)For you will not go out in a hurry (as you left Egypt) nor will you go in Flight (fleeing as you did from the Egyptians); for the Lord will go before you, and the God of Israel will be your rear guard.
From here I learned how to position myself through prayer here’s how:
Position yourself in His word through prayer. Pray before your day starts and pray after your day ends. Pray before your important event, project, or discussion and pray after it. In this way you allow God to go before you and come behind you. You are positioning yourself in the middle of His Will for you- which is praying without ceasing.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-19Rejoice always and delight in your faith, be unceasing and persistent in prayer, and every situation (no matter what the circumstances) be thankful and continually give thanks to God; for this is the will of God for you in Christ.
My prayer for you:
Heavenly Father, in Jesus name, I pray that you would cover your Dear Ones with your Supernatural favor. Go before them and come behind them. Help them complete their tasks efficiently and effectively- at work at, home or at school my blessing them with Your direction and a portion of Your infinite knowledge and wisdom. Help them put You first in every thing they say do or think, in Jesus name, amen.
I believe prayer is powerful. It opens the door for God to work in your life. I hope this prayer serves you well as you practice abiding in Christ.
Be Blessed. Be Encouraged
